Batu Giling
Batu giling is what it call in Malay. Made of stone and consist two main parts, 'ibu' and 'anak'.
It been traditionally used to made the traditional curry powder. Actually it is a today's mixer before the electric been used in rural area.

Yeah, 'batu giling' is one of traditional stone-tool of old malaysian people in their own kitchen. This artistic and old-gadget is similar to 'ulekan'/ 'alu' in java island and sumatra island and a half part of eastern indonesia. No wonder that we all are in the same influence of culture of polinesia which had some several huge stones as rituals and utensils as well.
